The Vertigo Maneuver, also called the Epley Maneuver
The Vertigo Maneuver, also called the Epley Maneuver, is a series of head movements done by a trained healthcare provider to fix a problem in the inner ear. The movements help move tiny rocks that have moved out of place in the ear back to where they belong.
During the procedure, the patient sits upright with their legs out and the healthcare provider moves their head and body in different positions to fix the problem. The whole process takes less than 15 minutes and can help relieve dizziness and vertigo.
If you\’re experiencing dizziness or vertigo, it’s important to see a healthcare provider to find out what’s causing it and get the right treatment.
